Because it stimulates the brain’s own healing power, it allows the brain to uncover and process what you need to process, not what others may think is the problem. EMDR also has safety procedures so that you can control the pace and intensity of the process. Usually, a few sessions of EMDR is all that is needed for a client to see results.
